Wounda /wáwndə/ (female)

‘Life is a wound that can only be healed by death.’ So goes the grim refrain that apparently led to the creation of this name in the late 90s. Too pessimistic for some, this variation on the name Wanda has nevertheless enjoyed substantial popularity in the last few years, particularly amongst fans of Trent Reznor, who chose this name for his baby girl in 2013.
