Lesleopard /lɛ́slɛ́pərd/ (male/female)

This relatively new name (first coined in July of 2013) has two fairly obvious influences, combining Lesley’s jovial naïveté with a leopard’s mystique, grace and latent ferocity. What isn’t so obvious is just how different this name can sound depending on whether it is applied to a boy or a girl. Unlike names like Dawn/Don or Erin/Aaron, Lesleopard doesn’t require an alteration of spelling to enhance its gender distinction. All these features combine to form a solid name that tends to be favoured by the upper middle and lower upper classes.
“Lesleopard says his legs don’t get cold.”
