Bandaniel /bændænjəl/ (male)

At this point, it is a well-established truth of the fashion industry that a bandana will add a rakish edge to any outfit. Whether worn on the head or neck, stuffed in a pocket, or tied around an ankle, the result is always an undeniable rebel charm. Bandaniel was conceived on the theory that the same rule might apply to baby names. We’re no name scientists, but I think it’s safe to say that the formula works. This new name takes the classic, approachable, only peripherally biblical name, Daniel, and wraps a daringly-patterned bandana around it. The result is an exponential growth in in the areas of style and gravitas, and the naming public is positively eating it up.

“I don’t know where you got the idea that we’re a couple, Bandaniel. I barely know you.”
